Bulova Ladies Accutron

Here's something we don't offer very often due to the fact that these watches are hard to find. This is a watch for the woman with "Mod" sensibilities! I'll bet Peggy Lipton ("Mod Squad" flower child) wore one of these! It is a small Bulova Accuton tuning fork watch that actually hums the time! The stainless case measures 20mm wide by 28mm in length. Rarely do we get one of these technically superior watches that is all original, including the band! Remember, this was state of the art technology and definitive style in the 1970's. The proud owner would have had folks grabbing her wrist to look at this unusual watch and then she would hold it to their ear so that they could hear the hum. Notice the "tuning fork" logo on the dial and also on the crown. This was a revolutionary idea and Bulova wanted everyone to notice. This was palpable evidence of the Accutron's spectacular design and performance. As a matter of fact this was one of the most accurate watches of it's era..far superior to common mechanical timepieces. The stainless steel case is perfect for wearing on a daily basis and the silvered dial is easy to read with modern hash markers. Our one year warranty for parts and labor ensures that you'll be humming along in style!
