This "992" Hamilton is a sixteen size, open face Railroad Pocket Watch that is indicative of Hamilton's quality and their commitment to timekeeping at a world class level. This killer "tool" pocket watch was made circa 1931, has an engraved bezel (front and back), a beautifully engraved pendant throat (on both sides), a 21 jewel (adjusted for temperature and isochronism), "992", railroad grade, lever-set movement, and an excellent porcelain double sunk dial with a bold outer track. What's not to like about this one! You can't go wrong with the Hamilton name and a great looking 25 year, 14k white gold-filled case (the thickest standard production g.f. case). The watch is railroad grade, adjusted to 5 positions, with a double roller and safety pinion, that winds, sets, and runs with exact railroad timekeeping standards! Make sure you look at the "Zoom-In" photos of the movement plates to see how wonderful the damaskeeing patterns are on the back plate and balance cock. It also has what called the "Bar-Over-Crown" pendant configuration that makes it impossible to accidentally pull out the stem. Yes, it a beauty and it could be yours. Remember all of out timepieces come with our famous one year warranty for parts and labor so that you may buy with confidence.
